East End Veterinary Center utilizes the latest digital X-ray technology on-site for your pet’s diagnostic needs. Our experienced team expertly positions your pet to capture clear and effective X-ray imagery for interpretation and diagnosis. We are proud to partner with a state-of-the-art veterinary telemedicine consulting service staffed by a team of board-certified veterinary radiologists to interpret all X-rays taken at our hospital. This is like having a full-service radiology and diagnostic team right at the tips of your pet’s paws. Leaning on our supportive relationship with these experts, we are able to quickly and effectively receive and discuss the results of a scan, and begin to develop a specialized treatment plan for your pet.
We also offer a full service, state-of-the-art, 24/7 on-site diagnostics laboratory, where we can perform complete blood count (CBC), comprehensive metabolic panel (CMP), and urinalysis tests in minutes. We are also able to quickly evaluate electrolyte, acid-base balance, blood gas and coagulation cascade values in your pet’s blood. In an emergency when seconds count, we’re able to perform and interpret these crucial tests at any moment to make an accurate diagnosis for your pet.
